Meeting with CAS Coordinator

Today, we had a brief meeting with Mr. Peter Wilson after school to check in with our CAS project. He uploaded the website onto his computer to take a look and provide some feedback. First, he responded to some small problems with the visuals of our website, such as the color of the background and text being too bright and being hard to look at. We plan to fix this immediately by changing the text color to black and possibly keeping the light teal background color. Another more important issue that he responded to was the way we have been recording our reflections. By completing a brief overview of our website, he noted that many of our reflections recorded events in our progress. They included days when we met with the organization and had a bake sale, but not many reflections on revising and small steps like drafting sketches. The reflections do not always have to be long either. With these comments that Peter provided, we plan to write and post reflections much more frequently, adding our thoughts on even the lack of progress or some struggles we’ve experienced.
