Sketches

Yesterday, I began to sketch scenes inside the subway and these are the most challenging yet. The first failed attempt was based on the point of view of someone sitting down, but there were no reference photos of that perspective online. I will need to take a photo of that position myself when I’m riding the subway. The second drawing’s view is similar to the rest of the drawings as it begins from one end of the car and ends at the opposite side. The setting is basically symmetrical with a pole in the middle splitting the two sides. However, I think that the first orientation is better for the drawing to focus on the characters’ actions. As a sketch, the subway scenes lack detail. When we begin to complete the final scenes, details as little as the advertisements and lights will be added.
